Email Notification Link to uploaded/downloaded files incorrect

Mark F 2 months ago updated by Vlad R 2 months ago 1

In customizables/emails/folder_notifications/upload.tpl.txt file it links to the uploaded files as $info.relativePath|forHTML  This does not return a clickable link but something like the following.  How do I get a clickable link in this notification email?

https://example.com/home/acct_name/www/files/cron/#/HOME/FileRunFolderName/FileRunFileName.extension

I believe that it should be the following

https://example.com/home/acct_name/www/files/cron/#/HOME/FileRunFolderName/FileRunFileName.extension

The root URL of FileRun in this example is

https://example.com/files/

Because you are sending the e-mails from the command line, FileRun can't know the URL, and in some cases it doesn't get it right. You need to manually set it by creating a file "customizables/config.php" like this:

<?php
$config['url']['root'] = 'https://www.your-website.com/filerun-folder/';
