using nextcloud app .git and .idea folders get deleted when syncing

This is probably true for more folders, but when I create a new project in intellij it creates .idea folders.

This folder gets deleted when I try to sync it to filerun using the nextcloud app on windows 10.

same with .git folders.

in the app it happily says it got deleted with a red cross next to the folder name and "synced".

I checked the ignored folder and I can't find .idea or .git  or any wildcards that would match that description like .*

Any file or folder that does not show up in the FileRun web user interface, or via direct WebDAV connection, won't be seen by the sync apps. If the sync app compares the local copy with the remote copy, it will make adjustments so that both sides are identical.

You would need to configure FileRun not to hide these files and folders. You can do so from the configuration file, like this:

$config['app']['hidden_file_names'] = [];
$config['app']['hidden_folder_names'] = ['*.filerun.*'];

(I still left the FileRun related folders to be hidden.)
