Changing the domain!
Hello,
i have installed filerun using server ip address as a domain, and activated the license and it seems that i cant's change the "Domain" in my license.
i have registered a new domain and i need to change the address to pint to that domain but when i enter the domain it gives me this message:
"This software application is registered to a different server hostname."
is there anyway that i can change the domain?
Thanks,
Answer

I have the same problem, I install it under http://10.0.0.5.
The problem I was having was with ssl, but I found a good guide here to install ssl on first setup, recommend that you do this first apache-server-ssl-support and after you create the certificate modify the ca.crt and ca.key with your new one, I am using cloudflare free ssl
Now that port 443 is open and receiving connections I cannot connect my new domain.
https://www.mydomain.org -> This software application is registered to a different server hostname.
but if I do https://10.0.0.5 loads fine except it says not secure. which is correct as the cert belongs to my domain.
Any suggestions to fixed this.
P.s I am new to filerun and just moved away from owncloud, love how fast filerun loads.

You just have to delete the file "system/data/filerun.dat", access FileRun via the new domain and re-register from its control panel.
In newer FileRun versions, the file is named ".filerun.bin". (Note that because the name starts with a dot, it might get hidden by your file manager.)

The file "system/data/filerun.dat" doesn't exist on my Server. How can i change the Domain?

It means your FileRun installation is not registered, so no change is necessary inside FileRun.

Thanks for the answer Vlad, the problem is, i can't register my installation (No Mail is being generated).
If i try another Mailadress, then there is the usual Error Message but with the wrong (incomplete) Domain.
