MP4 preview using IMagick

paulo 9 months ago updated 9 months ago 2

My hosting plan (namecheap) does support FFMPEG, but it supports ImageMagick, which supposedly supports mp4 files, can that be used to generate the thumbnails? If so how do I test this, or trigger this manually? At the moment none of my mp4 files have thumbs.

Thank you

I doubt that ImageMagick can handle that. But you can still use this to see what's happening: https://docs.filerun.com/troubleshooting_thumbnails

Thank you, the error is:

Error: Failed to read the file

Under the settings the IMagick path is correct, "/usr/bin/convert", does this means its trying to run it from the wrong path?
