Ryan M 2 months ago updated 1 month ago 12

I get this error when trying to login after an update. Can anyone help?

Anything in the PHP error log?

Under review

After pressing OK, is there anything displayed? As written above, the PHP error log might include some useful troubleshooting information.

Thanks for your replies.

I can get in now. Must've been a caching issue but I was surprised it lasted longer than 48 hours.

Hi, it's started doing it again. My clients using different machines and OS's are having a similar problem. The message after clicking OK just displays a page with 'Loading...' written in the top right corner.

Appreciate any help.

This is what the error console displays...

I'm running PHP 7.4.32.

I do have the server logs if that helps anyone?

server logs

Not seeing any errors in that log, may be more info in the PHP log

Here's the PHP error log:

You most certainly did something manually with either the database or the application files, mismatching their versions.

Looks like you reinstalled version 2021.06.27. If you can login now, access the control panel and try to update. Otherwise, my recommendation is to restore a backup, if you have one, from a point where it was working fine, and then update the FileRun version, following the proper proceedure, as described here:  https://docs.filerun.com/updating

(Dropping new application files over old ones, will not update an installation, but mostly break it.)

Hi, thanks for getting back so quickly. It just asked me to update and and I clicked the button.

My hosting is with Siteground who allow you to restore from old backups so it shouldn't be an issue.

Rolled back and re-updated and all is good 👍🏻

The same server error has appeared again today. With this in the PHP error log.
