To many users for free version after domain change

florian_breuker 6 months ago updated by Vlad R 6 months ago 1

Hi guys,

after changing my domain I deleted the file "system/data/filerun.dat"as mentioned in https://feedback.filerun.com/en/communities/1/topics/153-changing-the-domain

But now I am getting an error...:

Software licensing error: Invalid number of user accounts. Expected maximum 5

Is there any chance for me to delete some user, using my license key and adding the user afterwards.
I am not abled to log into the system, after loggin in the error appears.

Or are you able to change the license key to my latest domain.

PS: i have a license but I am not able to get use of it :(

If you don't have a new license key, for the new domain, the only way to get one is to register a working/fresh FileRun installation on it.

With the new license key, access your non-working installation like this:

http(s)://your-new-hostname/(FileRun/folder/path)/?alicense=1&key=YourNewFileRunLicenseKey
