The provided license key is not valid for the hostname
Hello!
I'm currently trying to re-register my personal FileRun license but I'm getting the following error;
'Server error: The provided license key is not valid for the hostname that you are trying to use FileRun on. Please contact FileRun support.'
I'm guessing this is because I've changed the url from www.mydomain.com/filerun to http://filerun.mydomain.com
The error message is requesting me to contact FileRun support.
Kind regards,
Bob

You can delete the file "system/data/.filerun.dat", which would remove the license. You should be able to register again after that.
Thank you for your quick response!
I have already done so, which allows me to re-register, but when I do so I get the error 'A FileRun installation is already registered for filerun.domain.com. Please find your license key inside your FileRun client account'.
When entering the license key in my client account, I get the error 'Server error: The provided license key is not valid for the hostname that you are trying to use FileRun on. Please contact FileRun support.'.
Not sure if it matters, but I'm running the docker version. I've also changed the docker permissions so apache has full access to the directory.
Addition to the above; I've circumvented the issue by temporarily redirecting https://filerun.domain.com to https://www.domain.com. Using this method, I could re-enable my original registration and update to the latest version.
However, after being on 20220519, I get an error about a domain/license mismatch while being on www.domain.com. Reverting to filerun.domain.com breaks the license.
I've then tried removing .filerun.dat and doing a re-register, but that brings me back to the original loop. I'm currently running the latest version, but without the registration.
PS; your software is absolute fantastic. Thanks for creating and providing it for free for small users like myself.
