Not all thumbnails are created.

Just started to test FileRun.

I've uploaded 1500 images via folder upload. The folder contained several sub-folders with the images.

Only a few thumbnails are created. Some only when viewing the image.

Is this a known issue, or is there a thumbnail creation script that can be run?

Regards,

Tony

Not a bug

Thumbnails are never generated on upload, but only when you browse the files. Make sure you use ImageMagick (http://docs.filerun.com/imagemagick) for being able to generate thumbnails faster, for larger files, and more types of files.

You can also trigger the thumbnail generation by running a command line script. See http://docs.filerun.com/command_line_tools for that.

Imagemagick is in use and working.

I'll give it a try with the command line Thx for the feedback.

Since the newest FileRun-Update (2018.02.13) my Thumbnails are also not created reliable. Both with Imagemagick and without only some thumbnails are generated.

I also deleted the existing thumbnails - but same problem...

We would need more information. Does it always happen with the same files? What type of files, what file sizes, what pixel dimensions, what ImageMagick version, what operating system and hardware?

i have problems as reported here https://feedback.filerun.com/communities/1/topics/252-thumnails-problems in version "2017.09.25", with pdf files....

i will try to update to the new version..

with the new version no working thumbs will be created while browsing the folders. With the cron script almost all pdf thumbs are beeing created, only some are missing. maybe its a large or protected pdf

I suggest dropping us an e-mail (https://filerun.com/contact) with access information to your FileRun installation so that we can have a look.
