Blacklisting folder while make_thumbs

Hello, does it exist the possibility of blacklist the processing of certain folder while running /cron/make_thumbs.php? As well as we can select USER and FOLDER while /cron/metadata_index.php.

It would be nice because I have tons of small files that do not deserve the waste of time.

Thanks in advance.

I would like to see this too

We will very soon make it so that you can target particular folders.

Was this functionality ever developed? I have over 500,000 photos on the hard drive and only one or two folders need to perform the command periodically. To generate 20 or 30 thumbnails per day, the program has to scan the entire hard drive and realize that 500,000 do not need to be changed. It takes a long time and consumes a lot of resources.

It would also be nice to be able to exclude videos.

Replacing "system/modules/fileman/sections/cli/php/thumbs.php" with this version will add the "--path" option to the command. You can use that to specify the path of the folder you wish the command to be focused on:

php make_thumbs.php --path "c:/some/example/path"

This change will be included with the next FileRun update.
