order 3 months ago updated 3 weeks ago 8

Hi there,

newly uploaded files show up alright, but file size says "empty" (permissions seem to be ok). How can I fix that?

Sh...! You are right. It's a 32 bit system and occurs, if files are larger than 2 GB! BTW: Is there a easy way to swap to 64bit (system ist Debian Stretch on a Pi2)?

Easy, I don't think so, as it would probably require an OS reinstall. And that is only if the CPU is actually 64 bit, as many Pi2 aren't: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=202487

Hi,

I have to come back to the problem again.

Recently I had a problem with my server and had to temporarily install a backup with php5. Surprise: File sizes over 2 GB to 4 GB were displayed correctly! For larger files, the size was given as the part over 4 GB.

So for the span from 2 GB to 4 GB it seems to be a problem with php7.

/P.

It's not a PHP version problem. Same program usually has versions for both 32 or 64 bit systems. If you are using a 32 bit version, even on a 64 bit system, you will still only be able to handle up to 2GB.

I'm not sure about Vlad's answer. My setup was the same but the php version. With php5 filesizes were shown correct (up to 4 GB). With php7 files bigger than 2 GB show "empty"

FileRun doesn't support PHP 5 since May 2018, so it is not particularly relevant for 2019.

I know. But at least the file size for files > 2 GB was correct.
