As a side note, adding it to the supported image types for ImageMagick allows for thumbnail creation.

Would be good to be able to view the images though.

Not currently. I have changed this into a feature request.

This is now what iPhones create.

Thanks.. that would be very useful.. especially since Apple is using it as a default image format on iphones...

Full support will be included with the next update.

HI,

Metadata from HEIC files doesn't come through. Is this a known issue ?

Thanks!

Yes, HEIC metadata reading is not supported at the moment. We will include this with the next FileRun update.

Is there a way to upload heic images as a guest?

i just tried it and they got converted to jpg.

or is there a setting that I missed?

thanks in advance!

Your device is doing that. FileRun would not bother converting files for no reason.

Thanks for the reply!

Maybe for clarification: I could only test this behaviour on webupload via iPhone. What you are saying is, that it might be a setting in safari/directly on the iPhone?

Most probably. I'm not an Apple user so wouldn't know what options are there, but i can tell you that i didn't write a single line of code in FileRun towards such behavior.
