Thumbnails with Cron

Mark 5 months ago updated by Vlad R 5 months ago 1

Cron function make_thumbs.php still fails to create thumbnails, giving different errors(have an unsolved post 6 mnts ago). Most problematic files are PDF and PNG.. For some files its ok but on some files the processing stops and exits.

Example error: PDF file with 20+ pages:

installation.pdf ............ Segmentation fault

Example error: Regular image file

/Camera/20190328_185305.jpg ........... ... DONE
/Camera/20190328_185346.jpg ........... ... DONE
/Camera/20190329_085423.jpg ........... ... DONE
/Camera/20190329_085440.jpg ........... Bus error

But when browsing the folder, every thumbnail is generated without any issue. Everything else works too.

System:

CentOS 7.6, 4GB RAM VPS, fresh install, PHP 7.3 +all modules,

Any ideas? :\

Not a bug

FileRun cannot cause a segmentation fault, so there is something wrong with either ImageMagick, PHP, OS, or hardware. I would start by reinstalling ImageMagick and Ghostscript. Try a different version, perhaps even GraphicsMagick as a change. If the problem persists, I would reinstall PHP, perhaps a newer version.
