Original resolution of videos

Jeck 11 months ago updated by Vlad R 11 months ago 3

When I share a folder (e.g. in list mode) and double click a video it opens in full screen, not in the original resolution. This blows smaller video (eg. 960x540) quite up. How can I display the video in its original resolution? This is the case if I share only a weblink of that video, but not within the folder.

I am afraid you would need to take this issue with Firefox developers as there isn't anything we can do about it on the FileRun side.

I can't confirm this. Using a video file with a small resolution, FileRun leaves the video to be handled by the browser. Trying this in Chrome, it plays the video file in its natural size for me.

Thanks for your reply. I was using Firefox. Now I tried Chrome. Here the video plays in it's natural size (320x176 px) as it should, same in Edge. Can you confirm behavior in Firefox or do I have something misconfigured?

In Firefox the background also looks different, it's not the dark as in Chrome/Edge:
