Broken docker update

jorgen 6 days ago updated by CorneliousJD 1 day ago 5

My Unraid gave me a notice of a docker upgrade for filerun today. When I updated the docker and tried to login i was met with the "New setup wizard" so I in order to access my filerun I had to drop the database (which gave me No users, no customization etc.) So I have to add my users, do my customizations (themeing, bitly key etc.)

Looks like a bug or have I a really strange docker setup? (don't think so)

And now I can't trash files

Will look more later today

Yep, you're definitely missing the /var/www/html/ volume.

You'll need to add another path, container path is /var/www/html/

Your path should be to your unraid appata, defaults to /mnt/user/appdata/filerun/

Once you add that all your settings should stick across docker restarts/updates/etc.

New installs from community apps should also automatically include that path now - I spoke with the author template and got him to update his template :)

Under review

Does the Docker setup still have the "/var/www/html" volume configured?

+1

The original docker template that a user publisehd to unraid community apps was broken and invalid, it did not have /var/ww/html/ volume mapped at all.

See this thread for more info: https://feedback.filerun.com/en/communities/1/topics/1377-docker-container-reset-sql-credentials-and-files-exposed-to-wan

You'll need to modify your existing template, or erase it and start over, as the author of the template (just a regular unraid user) has corrected and published the new version of the template to CA now.

No, not sure how much Unraid you know but this is how my setup is done:
