Hi again

Finally I got the right configuration and IonCube is running.

Had to add this line:

zend_extension = /usr/lib/php/20190902/ioncube_loader_lin_7.4.so

in this php.ini files:

./etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini
./etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini

aswell as in

./etc/php/7.4/apache2/conf.d/00-ioncube.ini as you mentioned here in step 2: http://blog.filerun.com/how-to-install-filerun-on-ubuntu-20/

Got the informations from Step 4 in this HowTo: https://www.tecmint.com/install-ioncube-loader-in-ubuntu-debian/

Thread can be closed. thx

Hi again

I looked where my php.ini is. There are two of them.

./etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini
./etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini

then I tried it as follow in the cron folder:

user@ubuntuvm:/var/www/mydomain.com/cron$ php -c /etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini make_thumbs.php superuser

user@ubuntuvm:/var/www/mydomain.com/cron$ php -c /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini make_thumbs.php superuser

and get the same output:

Site error: the ionCube PHP Loader needs to be installed. This is a widely used PHP extension for running ionCube protected PHP code, website security and malware blocking.
Please visit get-loader.ioncube.com for install assistance.

Because I have added the files external I want to run the thumbnailmaker.

Thx for any advice.

Thanks for your fast reply.

Where I can specify a particular php.ini with the "-C /path/to/php.ini" argument for the "php" binary.

The issue is only on my phone. Just tested on an new tablet. There is all ok. Has something to do with phone or allready existing nextcloud app. This I've allready used for another instance of nextcloud. Probably the app mixes something together....

thanks for your time

yes. I have for example two picture with a car and another with a house.

Then on the app ist the thumbnail from the house picture a car.

Strange... isn't?

This is why I switched aswell - back to [...].

Filerun is not to complicated. Everything can be configured, but the problem is, there is no community here. There is just Vlad R in this Forum! No other person answer to the question. And this is not what I expecte from a product I want to use the next 5 to 10 years in a company with 220 user.

Wish you all the best ;-)

Hello

I have now installed Ubuntu Server with LAMP in a VM. Afterwards I installed everything according to the Ubuntu instructions of Filerun. Also IonCube, ImageMagick was installed.

At the beginning I had great hope because everything was installed so smoothly. Unfortunately it turned out that I have the same loading problems as with the other docker installation.

So, I really don't know anymore what the problem could be. Could it be some detail on the server that causes Filerun not to run properly? I don't know where to look anymore.

Does anybody have a tip for me?

I have to say that I have these problems only with pictures. "Normal" files are excluded.

I would very much like to use FileRun - but under these circumstances it is unfortunately not possible for me.

Is it possible that someone is looking at the server? Maybe someone will find the problem...

I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

Greetings Greg

Any ideas? Would be nice if you help me at this point. Thank you in advance.

hi vlad

I tried it directly (without NginxProxyManager), without SSL. Same game.... it needs 3-4 min mostly to open a folder. Sometimes it hangs up so I have to restart in a new tab.

So I use it in a docker on unraid. Used this manual: https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/aplo48/filerun_docker_container_running_with_https/

I really like Filerun and would like to stay with. Whats the best option to use Filerun? I could install a VM with Ubuntu, Debian or something else. Would it be the better way?

Greg
