I noticed when I browse to or create a bookmark to anything but the default URL such a link to control panel - activity logs the favicon.ico appears. When I browse or bookmark to the default URL, there is no fav icon.
I recommend making the comments field larger than a single line, at least 4 lines so the user can see what they are typing.
One more item. I'd like to have the file comments emailed to the user rather than appear only in the filerun user's account.
I would very much like to have this feature. If a comment field is added to shared links and file request links, I'd like the ability to rename the title of the comment field. For example, rename "type your comment here" to "type your print instructions here"
Hello Vlad, thanks for addressing this issue. On my server the home folder path is set via a role. This issue occurs when I make any changes to the user's account other than the home folder such as the user's name. I'm not making any changes to the home folder, home folder path, or role.
In addition to mobile apps for users is it possible to create an admin app for control panel items? This would be useful for mobile phones with smaller screens (Windows Phone, Android, IOS).
The purpose of this would be to add a convenient link to my signature so people I email could easily upload data to a designated "drop box" folder in my account, so I do not have to create a custom folder for every contact (to keep their data private) and they do not have to register on my FileRun server. Since random contacts will be uploading, I would want them to only be able to upload files and not view the contents of the folder they are blindly uploading to. To solve the issue of who is uploading and two people uploading the same filename, I'd like the ability to add a line of text to the upload page such as "Thank you for uploading to my FileRun Drop Box. Include the your name, company, and project title in the filename of your upload. Please also upload a document with your contact information and print instructions."
and Windows phone. I have 20+ Windows phone users at my office.
